Ascot Hotel

This is a clean and decent hotel that appeared to be set in a neighborhood. No bugs so that was appreciated but the rooms could stand an upgrade. A bar/restaurant is attached but if you sleep early skip this venue. The music goes on until 12 midnight. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was too close to the wall for comfort when bathing. Not a lot of room or plugs for electronic devices. Load balancing affected some nights as the electricity would be off.

Great stay, newly refubished rooms and bathrooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The parking on the street was safe and covered by the hotels CCTV. The car guard was helpful. You can walk to the restaurants and cafes, it is a safe and friendly area. It was quiet at night.

I enJOYed my 5-day stay at Ascot. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff very attentive. Watch the hot water because it is HOT. The daytime 'security' was very gracious and made sure that my stay was pleasant. There are tons of places to eat nearby and a mall that I consider within walking distance. There's a bigger mall that you can Uber to in about 15min. Live music on Fridays is a plus. The bar area is great for relaxing and getting work done. Only downside was that the safe wasn't operable, but the place is secure and I knew my things would be safe. The folks at the tire garage play their music pretty loud in the afternoons, so a nap might be tricky. It was quiet at night.

Living in ghana I knew about power outage, but the hotel should have a generator it does not,power goes out any time and will stay out for hours.the pictures on the site show beautiful cozy suites, that's a joke,the rooms are like old time 1980 version. The lounge chair legs just fell off anything we put on it was light. If you from the states please bring wash clothes african don't use them,but still it a hotel. I assume they are working on the remodel cause the stairs carpet and wall are full of Water. Never ever again..I can say you are surrounded by lots of store,restaurants and shops.
