Kj is the best travel guide in Zambia . Very professional , took care of us … every detail of our trip . From the airport to the hotel .. to Victoria falls … to Botswana immigration and back to Zimbabwe . He made our trip relax and easy. He was very helpful to move our helicopter tour time . Very knowledgeable about Zambia and the animals. We learned a lot from him. If you are going to Zambia . Request Kj to be your guide. Surely made our trip a 5 star trip.

Service was excellent. I emailed a few times regarding quotes to different resorts in Mauritius, they immediately asssited. They gave me different quotes for the different options one can choose, it was a lot more than any other travel agency. Dashenka was so patient answering all my questions and phone calls. They also give you a heads up on travel insurance. Looking forward to the holiday! Will definitely use them again for our next trip. Will definitely recommend Thompsons Travel.

If this review helps save just one person from a bad travel experience I would be thankful. What the advertise and what they give you are 2 different things unfortunately. They pretend to care but when you bring things to their attention during the below expectations trip they arranged, there's silence and you're left alone in a nasty resort.

I would not use or recommend Thompsons ever again! We booked a weekend away through Thompsons and experienced issues at the resort.. when I contacted the travel agent she reassured us she will assist and she is working on the matter and will call us back shortly, the holiday passed and up till today no feedback! Rather use other travel companies that will attend to your requests in the event of emergencies while on holiday!

We travel a lot. We received an email from Thompson inviting us to "buy one, get one free" tickets to Mauritius. I went onto the site immediately to make a booking. It gave a few days to make bookings, but I went on it immediately. I can clearly state that they were misleading the public and false advertising because there was NOT A SINGLE ticket available!!! Firstly, they said flights could be from Johannesburg or Cape Town. The website did not have ANY option of Cape Town. I went on the Johannesburg option and strangely, every ticket was sold!!! This means that it did not exist. I advice those using Thompsons to take their offers with a pinch of salt. Don't place any trust in them or you will end up very disappointed. Very unprofessional. I am disgusted with their false advert which unnecessarily raised our hopes because I told everyone in the room that we were going to Mauritius and my 5 year kid was so excited as it would have been her first time.
