Dr Dheshni Naidoo

I have just had my second baby using Dr Naidoo as my choice of gynae. From the start of each pregnancy, I have had nothing but the most amazing experience. The care after the procedure is absolutely incredible. Dr Naidoo is such a thorough, caring doctor. Every appointment putting our hearts at ease and filled with friendly conversations. Like a home away from home. We absolutely adore Dr Naidoo and might even have to consider having another baby just to see her more often!

I honestly can’t thank Dr. Naidoo enough for everything she’s done for me throughout my pregnancy. From the very first appointment, I felt like I was in the best hands. She’s not just an amazing doctor, but such a kind and loving person. Every visit, she made sure I understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. I never once felt confused or uncertain about anything—she always took the time to explain things thoroughly, making me feel comfortable and confident. Her genuine care for both me and my baby has been so evident. I’ve never felt more supported by a healthcare professional. Dr. Naidoo truly goes out of her way to make sure her patients feel valued and heard. I always left her office feeling reassured and at ease, knowing my baby and I were in the absolute best hands. I’m beyond grateful for her and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!

I should have taken heed of the 1 star reviews instead of giving the practice the benefit of the doubt. The admin system is dysfunctional and unapologetic about their delays. It's a long wait for an appointment and when you make the necessary arrangements to attend your appointment, you are told (ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT) that that are delays and asked to come in later (this happened to me twice - March 2024 and December 2024). When I arrived at the later time, I was still made to wait (this was my experience). The doctor is clearly tired (as this was her response when I asked how she was) and distracted as she asked me the exact same question 3 times regarding my family history of diabetes, whilst attending to text messages during my consultation. I gave the same response all 3 times. My appointment was on a Friday (December 13th). I was sent for tests and told that I would be contacted with the results on a Tuesday (due to the public holiday). I was not contacted. I then communicated with the practice on the Thursday (19th December) requesting my results. I was told the results were not in because (according to the admin lady) they didn't receive the results from the lab. However, when I spoke to the doctor (a few minutes later) I was told that the reason for me not receiving my results was because she was ill earlier in the week and couldn't furnish the results. What surprised me the most was that for a practice that has no availability for at least a month in advance, the admin and doctor insisted that I "come in immediately and discuss my results". It took a while to convince the practice to even furnish me with my own results, because I was not going to suddenly be available for an immediate consultation. Whilst I understand that delays are guaranteed when it comes to pregnancy and birth. I think it is vital to give the best possible care to first time patients and handle them with professionalism if you want to retain these patients. The consultation fees are not cheap and to have a doctor distracted and texting during my consultation was, in my opinion, unprofessional. Dr Naidoo and her team may be "absolutely amazing" for some, and perhaps I caught her on a bad day. However, after my experience, I will not be returning to the practice but wish her, her practice and her patients the best.

Dr Dheshni Naidoo is an excellent medical professional and 5 stars aren't enough to rate her level of service, compassion, expertise and exceptional bedside manner. She has helped my husband and I navigate one of the worst tragedies imaginable with kindness, wisdom and above standard medical care. I would be at a loss if I didn't have Dr. Dheshni in my corner. She is truly a gift from God in a very dark time in my life. Sincerest gratitude and admiration, Nadine and Quintin.

Where is the 10 out of 5 star rating option?????? 🙂 We recently had our second daughter after a complicated pregnancy. Dr Naidoo kept up with my health so diligently that she knew exactly when to call it when it was time for our daughter to be born, in turn taking into account how much suffering I was enduring. I cannot fault Dr Naidoo on ANYTHING, EVER! Her heart and concern for her patients is at the center of everything! Her admin team are exceptionally helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile- they always keep patients up to date in terms of whether Dr is maybe running a bit late because, well, babies are being born, we have to make allowances for that, this is not like a dentist appointment! Given the nature of the industry, Dr has to be available for many people all at once (something she masters with such grace and compassion!) so I know that if she needs to respond to someone during my appointment it's because she cares so much for her patients! I've been with this amazing earth angel for quite a number of years. She has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. I cannot fault her. I cannot thank her enough for her care and compassion. Just.... incredible! So grateful for people like Dr Dheshni Naidoo! Let me reiterate, her heart and concern for her patients is at the center of everything she does!!!!!!!!!! One more thing, I think it goes without saying that it's not just about how a medical professional treats you but how you treat them in return! I also think people are very quick to give a bad review, for example, without even speaking to the Dr in question beforehand, to discuss.
