Dr. R B Mia

Dr Mia is hands down the best gynea I have ever been to! He was my back up gynea for a natural birth which turned into a c-section later on. He has a great bedside manner and takes the time to connect with his patients and guide them through the journey of pregnancy. He explains everything - before you even having to ask! He is very knowledgeable. He helped deliver my little one and I couldn’t be happier with the experience (as daunting as it is).

Dr Mia was my gynaecologist in case of emergency as I wanted a home birth with midwife - which later became hospital labour ward with midwife and due to after the birth complications had Dr Mia fly in and do an amazing and pain stacking operation to save my uterus… for future births. If you are thinking about a birth you can’t go wrong. Even for natural vac bacs he offers to let you try natural first. He never pushes c-sections and he listens to you as the mom and knowing a woman’s instincts he knows when to step in when there is trouble. He quickly comes up with a plan explains it fully and gives you all the options your body is yours and he treats you with absolute respect. I saw him for all the scans and tests he is very kind extremely sensitive and very knowledgable. Couldn’t have had a better team. Him being backup made me feel safe and comfortable.

Dr Mia is an amazing doctor. After not being happy with my previous gynae, someone referred me to Dr Mia , and he took me on at 20 weeks of my pregnancy, where other gynaes refused as i was far in the pregnancy. From the first consult, he made me feel comfortable and explained on my baby’s growth and progress explaining in detail how everything looks normal and good. Something the previous gynae did not do. He does not rush through consults , he listened to every concern and answers every question. He would respond to me on WhatsApp whenever I needed help. He is kind , caring , compassionate and very passionate about his work. He made me feel safe and confident that I’m in the right hands. Even when I was in labour the nurses attending to me told me that I have a very good doctor and have nothing to worry about. I wish that I found him earlier, as it would have been even more of a beautiful experience seeing him from the start of my pregnancy. I highly recommend him ❤️

I had both my babies with Dr Mia and I could never ever go to another gynae. My first baba had complications and he went out of his way in every way possible to try and save my baba. Moreover he was so delicate and took every precaution with my second baby. He walked our whole journey of entering parenthood with us. There’s no other person I’d trust my babies lives with.

Dr Mia delivered both my kids. i won't recommend someone else. He is caring and kind. he really takes his time to make sure everything goes smoothly. if i had another baby i would go to Dr Mia.
