I have been using the Beancounter for the past few years and must say that it is always a pleasure dealing with them. Our account manager (Cindy) with Osiame and Boithepo are very knowledgeable and always willing to assist with any queries. The reports and management accounts are sent timeously, which are very insightful. The rendered services are exceptional. My only regret would be that I did not change to the Beancounter sooner...

We have now been with the Beancounter for 9 months. To summarise the experience has been a series of overpromising and underdelivering ending up in what I consider highly unethical.
The payroll department is absolutely pathetic from day one and the accounting department has given us problems upon problems. From reports that were never sent to us to MMAs and AFS that are wrong.
Bad accounting causing overpayments to SARS (which is exactly what accountants are supposed to prevent - especially considering how overpriced the Beancounter is) and my inhouse (NOT ACCOUNTANTS) ladies fixing the Beancounter's mess ups for 9 months straight.
We have tried to terminate 3 times and every time they begged us to let them prove themselves and then it looks better for a day or two and then all of that is null and void when the work they provide is again faulty or they AGAIN ask for information that they have had access to the entire time.
Waldo, the CEO sold us on a service that was simply not delivered. They just want your money and don't actually care about your business.
If you are considering becoming a client, one word of advice.... RUN! Very, very fast. Happy to elaborate 🙂
