Dreadful experience. Came out of theatre at midday, had desperate need to urinate, although had catheter. Catheter removed by nurses only 18 hours later. Eyes were watering due to desperate need to urinate that whole time. He did not see me after the operation, only the following morning after catheter had been removed. I asked if he could check me out as something "looked" amiss when i went to the toilet. Really had to beg him to examine me as he said he would check me out on my two week follow up in his rooms (but when trying to make that booking, he was on leave) I forced the issue and he begrudgingly took a look and discovered that the bandages were still inside me, i guess blocking the catheter? And then unspeakable treatment at my follow up! There was also a procedure that he had discussed with me that he was going to do and he didnt do that either! There has been no improvement in my symptoms whatsoever. Arrogance in the extreme and completely unethical. I spoke to the hospital manager to share my experience and he apologised for my experience. He said he could arrange a second opinion , and suggested that I could report him to the HPCSA. That spoke volumes to me!

Dr. Glocer is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. He diagnosed me when no one else could figure out what was wrong and subsequently treated by son for a circumcision and my husband for a vasectomy. I couldn't recommend anyone else more highly.

Dr Glocer treated my dad and was fantastic.
