Had a really wonderful experience from the prompt booking by Thembi with emails of the forms to the consultations and treatments with Physiotherapist Tarcia and Biokineticist Fatima. Wonderful ladies in the BC team. Their reception also very welcoming and facilities were really clean. I've known about this place for a while now and my only regret is that I didn't go there sooner.

I googled specifically looking for a physio, explained that I was in excruciating pain and was given an appointment for the next day. I took time to carefully fill out all 9 pages of the consultation and was disappointed to see that the physio didn’t even look at the form and asked questions that were answered in those pages. I have been struggling with chronic pain for many years, I have a beauty salon with staff who are fantastic at massage and I visit a neurological chiropractor every Monday. I was 100% clear when I made the booking that I needed something else to give me relief. I stand corrected but I think the physio’s name was Thando. Firstly, she didn’t look at the 9 pages I completed then proceeded to do an “analysis” of sorts & only after I was clear about needing the actual treatment (AGAIN) did she take me back into the room. She asked me “what is it that I want” – I am familiar with anatomy & prior to this frustrating question, I explained & showed her by touching her neck & shoulder. I then experienced the worst attempt at a physio session I have ever experienced – I started treatment in 1994 so I have been to a few. I would be surprised if she has an actual physio qualification because when I asked for lev scap trigger points, I’m not quite sure what I received. I was hoping for some interferential, stretching, shoulder mobility and actual trigger points but what I received was a localised massage my junior therapist could have done 10 times better. While laying there, trying to constantly explain to her where the issue is I wondered if I should just get up & walk out. I waited for the doctor who was very sweet & kind, while she prescribed painkillers I thought about the huge waste of time, money and most importantly hope! If I wasn’t in tears when I walked out, I would have complained then & there & most probably refused to pay for that “physio” session. I spent hard earned money from my business & honestly would like a refund for the physio session. I’m still deciding on weather to do a google review, I’m so disappointed because the reviews before this terrible experience were great. This clinic is managed very professionally from the point of managing appointments to the process of Doctor consultation, physiotherapy and biokinetics. I have been on a 6 week program thus far and there is tremendous improvement on my neck and back pains. They are highly recommended. A very good personal interaction with their patients from all who are employed there in this clinic.

I recently completed my 12 week program at the Back clinic and it was well worth it. They really helped me learn how to manage the pain, they are literally there with you all the way! I loved the fact that you get a Biokenetics, a physiotherapist and a doctor to see you through your process. I thoroughly enjoyed the massages, really targeting the problem areas. Everyone was just amazing. Best service money can offer. Very clean facilities too. If you suffer from back pain, give them a try you won’t regret it.
