Dr KS Fisher

The worst urologist ever. There is a reason why this urologist always has availability, (my husband is suffering with kidney stones, he had it in the past & it was back) doctor charged him R1500, for a 5min consultation just to tap his back and stomach. And ask him how does he know its kidney stones, advised he go for a cat scan which is r6000, then come back to the rooms, other than that the doctor could NOT ASSIST IN ANY WAY. Don't waste your time and money, he is one of those doctors who bought his qualifications. USELESS.

Do not recommend this doctor! My husband and I went to see Dr KS Fisher after 3 months of trying to conceive & 1 miscarriage. The request was for a sperm test. He was so condescending towards me asking me why I’m in such a rush to fall pregnant (which I wasn’t); said a sperm test is a waste of time and money and would take 3 months by which time I would be pregnant. That there is nothing wrong with him as he has got me pregnant before and bad sperm cannot fertilise an egg so he isn’t the reason for my miscarriage (which I didn’t even suggest by the way). First of all, 8 months later I’m still not pregnant and am at miscarriage number 3. I have spent R12K trying to figure out what is wrong with ME as the woman because of what he had implied. We went to see another doctor who said he is completely wrong about bad sperm not fertilizing an egg and causing a miscarriage - 1/3 miscarriages are caused by “bad sperm”. We finally did a sperm test. Dr KS Fisher wasted 8 months of my life and a lot of heart ache because of how he was towards us and our family planning because it turns out the problem is not me but is in fact his spent! A problem that is easily solved!

Very professional, however he is terribly condescending. Loves to throw medical terms around. As I worked in healthcare I understood every word. However that would be difficult for someone else. He was very critical of the care provided by my GP. And apparently every doctors surgery is asking patients to do a urine sample incorrectly. I will find another urologist.

R 1 200 for 10 minutes. Does not conduct any tests at all. gives you referral letters to go get your tests done at other places (more money and more time required). Doesn't even have an ultrasound machine. R 1 200 for absolutely nothing.

An excellent, patient and professional doctor. Takes time to explain procedures and answers questions. His medical interventions were problem free. Highly recommended.
