I purchased two bedside tables online for delivery to my home in Greenstone Hill (Order Number 10967). It's been a few weeks now, and the order still has not been delivered. No one made contact with me. The automated order and payment confirmation I received show no contact details. The telephone number Home Go listed on Google doesn't work. From this experience, it's starting to look like this may be a fraudulent company. I am currently in the UAE, if anyone from the company reads this, please email me your contact details so I can call you.

I ordered a sofa and paid for it. After the purchase, I checked them out on Google and saw a couple of negative reviews that got me very worried. I started to phone the store regularly to convey my worry from reading the online reviews. I also said the reviews made me concerned I would not get my sofa in the time promised and demanded updates on the progress. They assured me it is on track. Eventually, the 14/15 days delivery time was up and they delivered my sofa. It's beautiful and we are enjoying it. I thought I should come and write a review on my positive experience with this furniture company. The negative reviews online are concerning. I advise the owners/management to do more to erase these past negative perceptions/experiences and highlight the new focus on customer experience and satisfaction. I would not have made a purchase if I had seen the negative online reviews earlier. But my experience has been positive and thought I should say that here to give confidence to others customers. I further advise the owners/management to post information on actual delivery times and customer service efforts to give greater confidence to new customers.

WORST FURNITURE EXPERIENCE On 1 September 2023 , I had purchased 6 Mbali Chairs (grey) (R1 425 X 6 Chairs = R8 550) from Jabu at the woodmead store. The store only had 4 chairs which I picked up on Saturday, 2 September 2023. I had realised that the 6 chairs won't fit in my house once I had 4 chairs at my house. I called Jabu on Sunday at 3:30pm to let him know that I do not require the 2 other chairs which I had NOT RECEIVED DELIVERY for. On 04 September 2023, I called Jabu and the store multiple times. They never returned any of my calls. On the third time of trying, I spoke to Jabu and Chris about the refund (2 X R1 425 = R2 850) for the two chairs. Chris refuses to provide me with a refund and will only provide store credit or laybys for new furniture. This is unacceptable and I will proceed with further action. Currently I am getting my bank to reverse the transaction as this against the CPA in South Africa and taking this up further. I have contacted their customer care which was no help as the phone just rings, their website crashes when you try to submit a query, and to date I have received no feedback from the store for either my refund or the two other chairs. Absolutely shocking business practices which can be seen from the countless reviews on google/hellopeter regarding this company. UPDATE: STORE HAS NOT ONCE CALLED ME NEITHER DO THEY WANT TO PROVIDE ME WITH MY REFUND. I HAVE OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT. FURTHER ACTION TO ENSUE. HOPE OTHERS SUBMIT THE FACTS OF THEIR CASE AS WELL. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.

I was happy with the assistance sales lady provided. She was very respectful and helpful. However my reason for 3 stars is due to when I queried about an adjustment on the chairs I was informed it could be adjusted. After paying and leaving I then received a call stating my adjustment could not happen. Very disappointing in the false information given and rectified only after I paid and left
