I applied for a job with Woolworths in 2018 and got a message telling me to come for training. Little did I know that it was a Harambee training. Got there at 6 in the morning and was given a peanut butter sandwich because “it was going to be a long day” I sat through many videos about the company but no one explained ukuthi this is not a Woolworths job interview. Jiki jiki, we are doing Microsoft training for three days, they told us a certificate would be emailed to us. IT HAS BEEN 7 YEARS, I still do not have that certificate and to top it all off, I remained unemployed after all of that. Harambee you failed me shame.

We miss the old Harambee the work readiness programs that ended with placements. The posts on the website are sometimes scams. Godzeye, Periscope, Nkunene pty ltd are scams. Harambee please keep the website but please bring back training and placement programs.

@Afrika Tikkun needs to learn your work process Supply only when there’s a demand. They do work readiness programs and deceive us about where we will be placed… only to find out that there’s no placement.

If you need staff do not make use of them. Poor communication and they will not send you the required staff when you need it most for your business. They have no level of respect for other businesses and pay the staff they sent you very little. We booked packers through them to assist in the busiest time of the year, the Gauteng branch manager Betty gave the worst service I have ever experienced in business.. No communication from their side, unprofessional and the most unreliable company I ever had to do business with.

I never get help for my problem

Since this agent took over our salaries went down , they took our shift allowance , over time does no longer count as over time it’s count as a normal time , Sunday and holidays we had to fight before we got paid back for them last year this year we not even getting payslips so we not sure if we getting paid for them this year or not . Service is so poor going to two years now we have never even received even a uniform from them all they do is to take our hard earned money which we work for 12hr a day and Rob us and when you call the site manager simply ignore your calls if he answers he makes empty promises
