We did the Full Day Johannesburg, Soweto, Mandela House, the Soweto Uprising Memorial and the Apartheid Museum and we had a great time with our guide & driver Clement Everything from booking, pick up, the tour inclusions was easy and great! We did a full day tour with Solly and his company and it was one of the best amazing experiences we had in Johannesburg. Solly came to pick us up in our hotel, and with a van with microphone, he started to explain all the historical dates of South Africa and the history of Johannesburg and, specially, from the Apartheid era. With him, we visited the Constitutional Hill, and also the Ghandi place in the center of Johannesburg, also known as Maboneng. We passed next to the fetish market, and then we went to Soweto neighbourhood. There, we visited the Mandela house, the Vilakazi Street, the Hector Pieterson memorial and also the Regina church. Unfortunately, due to covid, the Apartheid Museum was closed but Solly also approached us there to explain what we can find there. Solly is a very professionat tourist agence, who knows a lot about different aspects of Johannesburg. Any question you have, for sure he will have an answer. We did the full day tour of Johannesburg and Soweto sites with Phillipians4Four Travel and Tours. Solly was our guide and did a great job explaining the history and sites, as well as navigating the crazy Jo'burg traffic. He picked us up from our hotel, had water in the van, a local lunch recommendation, and overall helped us get the most out of our day.

We had a great half day tour with Nathi visiting Soweto and the apartheid museum. We were a party of 3 with 3 other people, which made for a nice group size. It was fascinating to learn about South African history. We had two hours on our own at the apartheid museum. We couldn’t see everything so we had to pick and choose. Highly recommend this tour on a trip to South Africa!
