Since the female owner sadly passed away, leaving the hubby and son to take care of things, this once loved salon has gone downhill. It’s shouting and chaos in there, laziness of cleanliness, staff lazing around, on their phones, mess around and no law and order. There are two ladies I go to who are brilliant in their manicures and pedicures who I’d give 4 stars too, but it’s the cleanliness and sterilising of the salons tools that worry me. The deceased female owner would be turning in her grave to see how her prized salon is being run. It’s a shame. I still go there as haven’t yet found an alternative. Note: after saying they’re open on Boxing Day but they were closed so I wasted my time taking the trip. Another example of the lack of detail to this business.

I go here for waxing - mainly because the price is affordable compared to other salons - it's very quick, and the lady who does my waxing is thorough. However, the place itself is quite unprofessional - the ladies who work there often talk very loud, and sometimes disturb the lady who is waxing me, making for an uncomfortable experience. The smell of the nail products is almost unbearable - extremely strong, and poor ventilation of the place causes one to feel quite sick - no idea how the ladies who work there deal with this for the whole day - luckily I'm in and out in 10min, so I'm not too affected.

The Therapists and receptionist SCREAM and talk to each other very loudly the entire time. Place needs calm music. Very Dirty Equipment. Quality of the service is ok. 10Nov2024
