TRAILS @Huddle - MTB, WALK, RUN & DOG-WALK

Total waste of R50 per adult. No signage at all where to find the leash free dog section. And after just deciding to walk my doggies anywhere cause the lack of signage, had to quickly leave because of the amount of burs that got intangled in both my doggies fur was crazy! And beware of non social dogs as well.

This is my favourite place to go walking in Johannesburg. It has a mix of different types of forest, open ground, ponds, wetlands, small hills, streams and bridges to cross. The bird life is wonderful. The red bishops in the reeds bring beautiful colour in the wetland areas. Among the many birds seen in Huddle are the Egyptian geese, the herons, the giant kingfisher and the long-crested eagle. This is a perfect place to let your dogs off lease to play with other dogs. The mountain bike trails look interesting and varied and the golf course is beautiful. There are also horses which can be seen grazing in the paddocks when they are out. There is a great feeling of space and the whole property is safe and secure. You can buy the wrist bands for different days for rand 50 if you don't want to become a member.

Trails are regularly maintained. Great place to take your dog for a walk or a casual mountain bike ride.
