This is the best swimming school that offers a safe and supportive environment for learning, and it caters to toddlers, kids, and adults. They have well-maintained facilities, quality equipment, and top-notch instructors. They also offer training for competitive swimmers. Now I know proper swimming techniques and water safety. If you’re looking for an affordable school that offers more lessons, Splash Aquademy is for you and not forgetting that their lessons are 40 minutes and most swimming schools are 30 minutes.

I am a retired senior citizen aged 66. I joined Splash Aquademy end of October 2024 as a birthday gift to myself…swimming had always been my great passion. However I never knew how to swim…I am so glad I took the plunge…every lesson has been so enjoyable. The instructors that have been teaching me…Coach Diedier…Gavin…Tiffany and Jose are the best. They are so kind…very friendly…patient and encouraging. I feel so safe, comfortable & relaxed in the pool. The whole atmosphere surrounding the pool feels like a holiday resort… so tranquil & absolutely inviting…I am actually so fascinated with what I have achieved with their expertise and dedication…I feel as though I am becoming a natural born swimmer in such a short space of time. I would highly recommend Splash Aquademy to anyone aged from…0 to 99.
So please sign up today…swimming is a life skill… ♂️

Good day, Christel.
I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation and admiration for the outstanding instruction Nthabiseng provided during my swimming lesson today. Her patience, expertise, and enthusiasm have made a significant impact on my progress and confidence in the water.
Her ability to break down complex techniques into manageable parts and provide constructive feedback has been invaluable. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my lesson and look forward to continuing to improve. And also thanks to the greater team as well, for the exceptional instructions, and for making my swimming journey so enjoyable!
Best regards,

My son hates sports or any form of exercise so when I took him for the swimming lessons I thought he was going to hate it and quit after the first lesson. But because of the friendly instructors he was so excited after each session and couldn’t wait to go back for more. Thank you for the great experience. You guys are absolutely the best !!

My daughter was so nervous for her first lesson but Teacher Tiffany was so patient with her that she didn’t even realise that she was in the water… now she only wants Teacher Tiff and even calls her cute. I cant wait to start my lessons, and thank you very much for what you are doing for my daughter

Baby Fishes is such a wonderful swim school. My first born started there at 8 months and is very confident and can swim on his own without any floatation devices at 3.5 years. The teachers are kind and patient. They allow children to progress through levels and tailor the lessons to the child’s ability while gently pushing them to achieve more but never forcing. The pool is warm and clean. The lessons incorporate pool safety and learning through play. Would highly recommend.

Very professional institution, the stuff is friendly from the admin to swimming lessons where they coach you. Before I attended their lessons I could merely swim but after attending with them I can confidently swim in deep and long pools. Thanks to their patience and willingness to teach.
Seutloali Makae

My child was very unhappy with the lessons. The teacher was rude and impatient. Also the property needs a lot of maintenance. The roof was very rusty and seems like it could collapse on us at any moment. I will definitely NOT recommend.
Christo Redelinghuys

Had the best experience as a first time swimmer. The instructors were friendly and helpful. Today I can confirm that I’m never going to drown again with the lessons I had.
Thanks Khani and to the whole team.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Sandton Swim School! My 3.5-year-old son, Jake, started off as a very cautious and fearful swimmer—he didn’t even want to get in the water. There were lots of tears, screams, and clinging at the beginning, but thanks to his amazing teacher’s patience, kindness, and encouragement, he has come such a long way.
Week by week, Jake has gained more confidence, and it’s been incredible to watch his progress. The teachers make learning fun through play, which keeps him engaged while helping him build essential swimming skills. The indoor pool is a huge plus because it means he can keep learning year-round without losing momentum.
The environment at Sandton Swim School is warm, welcoming, and professional. The teachers are all highly qualified and follow a consistent, supportive approach to teaching. They’re also super accommodating and always happy to answer any questions or concerns. Parents have the option to sit outside or inside, making it easy to watch and support their little ones.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience, and I love seeing Jake improve each week. If you’re looking for a fantastic swim school
that prioritizes both skill and confidence-building in a fun, nurturing way, I highly recommend Sandton Swim School!

I cannot recommend Swimsational enough! My daughter has truly enjoyed every minute of her time in the pool. The instructors are fantastic, creating a positive and encouraging environment that has made learning to swim an enjoyable experience for her.
I’m thrilled to share that she can now swim completely unassisted, and it’s all thanks to the dedicated team at Swimsational. The progress she’s made is remarkable, and I’m so proud of her achievements. Thank you, Swimsational, for building her confidence and teaching her such an important life skill. We couldn’t have asked for a better swim school!
Tanita behrendt

This is by far the most amazing swimming school I’ve ever come across. My daughter began a year ago and now is a professional in every sense of the word
She actually had a near swimming accident but due to all the lessons with her Coach, she was able to get out of the water and not have any fear.
Her Coach is beautiful and has such patience and love ❤️! Verena is the best and very loving and couldn’t have asked for a better Coach for my daughter.
Medea van Vledder

I can’t say enough good things about Swimsational Swim School! From the very start, the process has been seamless and stress-free. The sign-up process was straightforward, and the administration and accounts are so well organized that we could enroll, pay, and book classes all online without ever needing to visit the office in person.
The coaches at Swimsational are fantastic! They are friendly, professional, patient, and incredibly gentle with the kids. They know how to balance being encouraging and firm, which has been a game-changer for my children. My son joined with a real fear of water; he wouldn’t even go near the pool without tears. Thanks to the coaches’ understanding and gentle approach, he’s now swimming with just a noodle – a huge step forward for him!
The small class sizes are another big plus, as each child gets dedicated attention, which has really boosted my kids’ confidence in the water. I am so glad we chose Swimsational – it’s been an excellent experience for us all. Highly recommend!
Ginny Abimanya

I highly recommend that you do not sign up your kids with these people. They are SCAMMERS! They falsely advertised that they offering 3 free lessons for their swim clinic in December and one can pay for January. I sign up. As you can see on the photos on 3rd December 2024 Nicole (the scam mastermind) asks me after one lesson if I want to continue swimming for January 2025. I tell I will let her know on 13 December. She agrees. Then she asks me for payment on 11 December 2024.
She ignores me after I explain the ad to her. Days later I called to tell her we will no longer be swimming with them due to the false advertisement. I can not associate with such lack of integrity. I told her they can use the fees I paid for January as fees for December. We won’t be swimming with them going forward.
Nicole and Shiane continue to harass me for payment. Today 15 April I receive a call from debt collectors asking for R3000. I tell the debt collector everything. He was appalled at such low behaviour.
Typical scammers. Want money for doing nothing. I was very clear on December 2024 that I will no longer continue swimming with them.
Talita Matebe

Swimsational is absolutely amazing. I joined in the beginning of 2024 with my partner and our 2 year-old daughter. For a person who had never been in a pool, couldn’t swim. The coach was patient and she pushed me to my best potential and I can confidently say I can swim now. My daughter is also doing well and she is enjoying her lessons.

I did my confined scuba diving water session at aqua marine aquatics academy. Great swimming pool, pools are heated. Extremely friendly staff. Ample parking, super clean bathrooms – with 1 toilet, a shower and a tiny changing area. Cute little Kids play area. There’s a coffee shop – they sell refreshments, Anusha (the lady behind the counter) sells Indian cuisine. Overall, everything is well maintained.

We have gone through two swim schools in the area and we have found our forever home. Gilla is an excellent introductory instructor, strives to ensure that kids are comfortable in the water and is ever so gentle and passionate with the kiddies.
We also love our transition to Tristan who is excellent in strokes and harder swimming techniques, our daughter is very happy at Aqua Marine.

Nonsikelelo Ntombela

Amazing swim school with super amazing teachers.
My son is a sensory child and they took him in and made him love swimming despite the fact that I couldn’t get him to wear a cap.
I was sad to have to cancel, but Saturday mornings were always a struggle. Thanks to their amazing work, my son was able to start swimming at school.
Thank you so much for helping us!
Melissa Saayman

Swimmly Swim School has ABSOLUTELY changed my life – I highly highly recommend them.
I drowned as a child and had been carrying the trauma over many many years. I had tried swimming at school and many swim schools as an adult but every-time i would get into a pool i would feel re-traumatized and regress. The team at Swimmly changed this for me – over an above the amazing swimming & survival skills i learned, the team was extremely patient and provided psychological support during my swimming journey. For every fear i had (rational and irrational) they provided various options and tactics to help me get over it and build confidence in my own way – this made a massive difference as they did not apply a one size fits all approach
Today i am a confident pool swimmer with great survival skills. I will forever be grateful to the team for the impact this has had on my life as a whole.
Qhawelihle Mntwini

My Son has been going to Funky Swim for Years and he just loves the one on one attention. They are patient, kind and treat him like their own child. Its like going to learn how to swim with Family. Thank you for everything that you do for him.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating!
When our daughter Milah was about to turn 3, she faced a tough challenge, needing an emergency operation that left her with a fear of water. We tried everything to help her, but it was Coach Dan at Seahorses Sunninghill who made all the difference.
Thanks to his patience, understanding, and commitment, Milah now loves the water! She swims with confidence and joy, never missing a lesson, no matter the weather or the power cuts. We also played our part, attending every lesson, even in the cold pools during LoadShedding.
Today, Milah swims like a fish and enjoys every moment in the pool. We’re so grateful to Coach Dan for his hard work and dedication.
Go Dan, go Dan, you are the man! ♀️
With lots of love and gratitude,
The Berry Family ❤️

Little Seahorses has be an amazing experience for the get go. Their swimming coaches are so friendly and supportive of the kids. Seeing my daughters swimming grown from strength to strength has been so incredibly and rewarding. I am looking forward to what lies ahead for her.

This has to be the best swimming classes for my little one. He loves the water but was not so confident and comfortable and after 2months he was so confident in the pool and always remembers each and every lesson teacher Erin teachers him. It’s been more than a year now and it’s part of our routine to have swimming classes. This the best school that understands little ones and takes time to teach them patiently with so much care for them to do better each lesson. Oh and play time is the best! It just makes his whole week! Thanks little seahorses swimming school!

Little Seahorses is fantastic. Coach Dan does an incredible job at making swimming fun for the babies. We have seen immense improvement in our son’s swimming abilities and confidence.

Started taking my daughter there when she was about 3 years old (she’s 10 this year). The team has been great, and I’ve watched her grow from monkey bars to galas now. Little seahorses has been instrumental in my daughter’s swimming journey in all spheres – techniques, confidence in herself.. Big shout out to Duncan, Daniel and Becky!! Thank you so much

Aadil Mana

No space for picnic, needs more seating areas and grass for comfort.
Farhana Abrahams

Just visited today and it’s an awesome facility. One thing I’d like to see difference in when I visit again is that the pool be brushed or scrubbed to remove the algae on the sides of the inner pool wall. But other than that, place was good. Lifeguard was present and vigilant
Chiedza Mzembe

I urge the management to start maintaining the rest rooms.
Service the tables and mantain the lawn also.
The prices must start to be constant with an early note of price changes.
Hence or otherwise there’s great service regarding the life guards.
