Reef Hotel Excellent customer experience. To whom it may concern. Thank you for the exceptional customer service we experienced this morning. From the door the 1st person that assisted us was very professional and friendly. We asked for something unrelated but he assisted us so with great care. We decided to stay for coffee. Thank you to every staff member that gave us a customer experience. We will definitely tell everybody about the great service we received at the Reef Hotel. Thanks again, Nancy and Lesley

Hey guys, I lived near this hotel and I work remotely, so I used to go and work at the restaurant when I could and buy a glass of coke here and there. But never felt comfortable here since I used to get funny looks from some of the staff. One day the waitress comes to find out if she can help me with an order. I respond by saying “can I have a glass of coke” which is R15 at the time and she responds by saying “I can’t just order a coke anymore” to my shock. I found it be very unprofessional and disrespectful as a paying customer no matter the amount. I then called the manager of the restaurant and I spoke to him about this and being told by the waitress that I should order more or leave the restaurant. He then back tracked and said people come here and use our WiFi then I tell him I’m not using the hotel WiFi I have own data. To which he apologised but didn’t apologise for the disrespectful treatment of a customer by one of his staff. From that day I’ve never returned to this establishment, very poor establishment and only treat you with respect if you’re paying more than what you can afford to be there. I highly don’t advise anyone who has any self respect to come here.

The room is great value for money! It’s not luxury but great if you’re doing work in the city. I would suggest they get softer towels! The location is not ideal for exploring and the building is very old- but the rooftop views are great! the lifts are especially old and needing an upgrade- but the staff are great, and the breakfast is very nice! I appreciated the free drink at the bar upon arrival!

We came as a group for work, for a week. Reception staff and management quite rude, shortage of towels and food is sometimes spoilt. Elevators are slow and need servicing. However I loved the waiters, waitresses, bartender and cleaners, very kind. Rooms are nice and clean.

It was my first time visiting a hotel and I had the best experience. The services were top notch, the food was sensational, the staff was very warm and welcoming.The rooms and bathrooms are absolutely immaculate. The most beautiful gem is their roof top which is on the 16th floor, a definite 10/10 for me. Overall I had the best experience.
