Virgin Active Gym Milpark

I had a disappointing experience when trying to bring a guest using a pass from the app. Despite following all the stated procedures and obtaining a valid QR code, the front desk staff dismissed it, claiming it "does not work here" without any prior notice in the app or at the gym. When I asked about completing the Guest Register manually, as per the policy, I was not offered the option and was instead questioned about why we were there. Rather than assisting us, they insisted on a guest fee and ultimately denied entry. This unprofessional treatment cost them a potential new client and left me, a long-standing member, feeling undervalued. Clearer communication and better customer service are needed.

Small gym with decent equipment. Unfortunately, they don't have weights between 5 and 8 (not inclusive), so you will need to jump from 5kg to 8kg when training. I still go there because there are not many people during non-peak times and it's close to Wits main campus. Note that the sona and steam room is a unisex one.

Despite canceling my membership on 07/02, the gym has shown that it was canceled on 10/03 and charged me an extra month's fee. What you have done is fraud. If you do not refund the March fee, I will take legal action with my lawyer."

It has worst parking management. Joseph is the worst manager, he had spoken so rudely to me and has the worst attitude. He has an attitude like he owns the building and the people that come to the gym. Doesn't seem like he has a degree of any sort to be a manager. As being poliet to a client and costumer service is top priority in any business. I am canceling my membership this very moment.

Small gym. The guys hog the equipment and aircons are not working I don't know why we pay so much if so much stuff is not working as it should
