Virgin Active Gym Rosebank

Lovely gym with fantastic staff,but the building it is situated in, makes this place a horrible place to go for me 5 days a week! It is high up in the building (no stairs) but with only one lift working 95% of the time which takes you 20 min to get in the gym during peak times. Sometimes your parking ticket expires and then you have to deal with the rude and horrible security staff! The parkings are also big enough for a scooter and parking is scarce. Coming in and out of this gym is a nightmare in all aspects. Once inside,its absolutely amazing. I just gym there seeing as it is walking distance from home.

Love it! I love a nice clean and neat gym. This one does not disappoint. It is very spacious with a Lovey pool and loads of difference areas to train. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The equipment is fairly new and well maintained. It is always clean... The best is there is an amazing view across the city to take your attention away from the pain... They sell day membership for approx £20 per day! Well worth it!

Sauna constantly pongs. A small that never ever goes away, even straight after it’s “cleaned” at 11am… the theft of phones has historically also been bad, seems to be sorted now, though? Gotten salmonella from the Nu lol. gym is not worth the price.

I’ve been a member at Rosebank Virgin Active for about 7 years and have never had a reason to complain…until now. I believe the manager has been made aware of this following issue but has NOT done anything about it : the skill mills in the general stretch area STINK so badly of old sweat that you cannot walk/run on them for 30 seconds without being nauseated by the disgusting smell. I know we all sweat at gym but honestly, these machines need some form of maintenance / deep cleaning …one cannot exercise on them. I’ve seen tons of people start walking on them and then getting off in seconds. The manager is aware of this problem but has failed to address it…shame on you !

Love that this is our regular gym; great facilities, amazing staff, spacious layout and great inspiring energy all round. Anytime I go to other Virgin Active gyms I’m reminded of why I love this one so much.
