From the moment I arrived I was treated with excellence From admission who helped me. From the porters ,to the whole nursing staff . In the ward I received excellent treatment. Polite, Helpful ,Caring. A credit to DGH All tests were performed by sympathetic ,friendly people. We've been in and out of WDG gor the past 8 years. Up and untill December 2024, the service was great and highly recommendable. Today my partner was admitted again, and was admitted to section D. This must be the orphanage of WDG... the make nurse tried to use the cap to do a glucose test, after the procedure the drip was left unattended from 14h00 to 19h30.... needless to say, his hand is swollen. When we called the nursing station the alarm went off and after 7 min we had to go to the station... atrocious was the word. The staff laughed and chatted, ignoring us....the staff at the theatre, cleaners, reception and catering were very good
The nursing staff at ward D, unprofessional, untrained, and couldn't care less. They did not even bother to remove or cap the drain bag or even empty it out or phone the doctor. But we had to sign how many pages to make sure they are getting paid. On our previous visit at section J, the professional nurse did not even know to put a drip. She pierced through the vein.... 8 drips in different places in 5 days. AN UPDATE ON MY REVIEW - I was contacted by the hospital and my complaint has been taken. At the time of this update I am yet to receive more feedback and we are still awaiting to hear from our professors assistant as to what is the next step regarding the treatment .... So much for thinking doctors really care, seems now we are just part of a hefty paycheck

5 star treatment, professional ethics of staff at all levels. Drs and nursing staff trained specifically for the nature of illness. Environment prepares one for positive health and alleviates all the fears. Looking forward to the journey to good health. Open communication on watts app and email with Dr's in charge.

World class surgeons & specialists. Well trained nursing and auxiliary staff who really care about your well being and follow up on a regular basis. Clean surroundings. Excellent stay. When you choose a surgeon at WDG, you're in good hands from start to finish.

Very good hospital, doctors well trained and Professional. Biggest issue is the noise level of nursing staff - it is certainly not a peaceful environment. My experience has been constant loud voices, laughter, no respect for sleeping patients.
