I booked an appointment with Carlos to take down my old dreads and re do them from scratch as my parting was off . As I arrived in the neighbourhood I got lost and he came to find me ! After that, him and his stylist took great care of me as they detangled my hair , washed it and used the crochet method to start the new dreadlocks. He added extensions that I had brought swiftly and really fast. The whole process took 5 hours and the result is beyond my expectations. He really is the best , I totally recommend booking him for any dread hairstyle . I can’t wait to come back for my first retwist with him .

I found Patrick on Google and read the reviews, called and set up an appointment.
Wow that was the best find in this year. He transformed my sons hair. His dreadlocks have been neglected but Patrick crotchet all the growth back on.
We arrived as per appointment and never waited like we do in other salons.

I was quoted R1600- for crochet and was told to pay R1000- deposit. On the appointment day there was 1 stylist and 2 people ahead of me..no electricity and no Brazilian. My hair was not done and that was 7 Feb to date my deposit has not been refunded. I keep getting excuses. Do not pay any deposit to this salon. You will not get your money back. It’s a scam not a business

I was at the Bobcut salon (Midrand) this afternoon doing classic lashes, I do not like my lashes at all, 1. They are irritating, 2. They are uneven, 3. They are coming out already, 4. There are other lashes sticking out, 5. The lady kept pulling the lashes out while installing to a point that my eyes were sore, the eye drops helped a bit but still painful 6. The installation took long because she kept installing, drying, installing, and drying due to the lashes coming out and irritating and had to call someone else that doesn’t work there to help her cut the irritating lashes. Looks like the lady is incompetent

Ordered a wig on the 3rd of December and I was told to fetch it the following day at 4 . I went on the 5th to fetch it and it was not done . The guy I found there asked a lady named Slindile to please do it was I was willing to wait. The rude lady Slindile said she won’t do it as me ill be asking how far with a very disrespectful tone . I have had the misfortune to try other salons in the gauteng area and each time my hair has either been butchered or I leave dissatisfied and ashamed to be in public.

Recently went to Tuscani for the first time after another salon messed up my hair. Bronwen did a colour correction for me and the results are stunning. She is brilliant at what she does. Cheryl has been my hairstylist since she stayed late to give my finger a cut and never charged me. After 2 years of growing my hair to donate for the making of a cancer wig, I returned to have 30 cm’s cut off. How wonderful to have Cheryl’s skilled hands not only do this with such skill, and care. What an amazing space to have this done. The salon itself is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. And Ray at the basin what a great hair wash/massage! Cheryl bags and has your hair taken to the CANSSA wiggery. Such a wonderful experience!

I asked for my hair to be finished with the flat iron and instead the girls used a wand, which is not great for my hair because it’s so thick it doesn’t hold. Staff seem content with allowing their clients to use foul language in the public spaces despite children being present- I don’t care how many girls you “crushed” over the weekend….I don’t actually want to hear it amd the staff should’ve used their professional judgement and either taken him to a more private room or asked him to just be mindful of his language. Top it off, I call to give feedback and I get nothing back. I came because of the ratings, I’ll stay away because of this one very poor experience.

Our appointment was at 12h30 on 5th Nov 2022 and we were attended at 14h30 and finished at 20h45 , because we finished late the work was poor , we arranged an appointment for Saturday to get it fixed they said Charles (the owner lost his grandfather we must come on Sunday 13th Nov , because the business will be closed on Saturday. We then agreed on today 13th Nov 2022 , when we got there we were sent from pillar to post , employees do not know who is supposed to attended to us and they confirmed that they don’t know about Charles Grandfather’sdeath the salon was operating on Friday & Saturday. I was on the phone with Charles today he was shouting at me for no ŕeason , the arrogance of this guy is amusing.

Someone lied about his grandfather’sdeath to avoid solving a customer issue!
