Easy to locate and navigate. But it is sometimes, especially during month end, Easter, December and holidays it get so full that you can even get lost and being pick pocketed.

The entrance is full of people asking yo direct you and they will demand a huge money after that. Better you avoid them and look for a taxi yourself because they are written and the taxi drivers and Marshals will help

I use the taxi rank occasionally, one thing you must do is to keep calm, be humble and don’t catch feelings about anything. Things escalate very quickly here, client service is defined differently. So get there, greet first (always) then ask for the taxi you need and get in line till you are told to get into the taxi. Once you leave the tank you can start relaxing again.

Very stressful experience cat-wise. Owners of stalls have mousers but they’re too effing stingy to feed their cats. They expect them to survive on mice . I saw a poor momma nursing her weeks-old baby in the doorway. Zero compassion for God’s creatures. You’d think they’d at least supply free WATER- but NO, the MFs. That’s too much effort. At best they give them a few dry pellets per day. And don’t even talk about a box to sleep in. Most of these ppl are Nigerian or Congolese avid church-goers but WHERE tf is their God-given mandate. “A righteous man regards the life of his beast.” Nothing. a cat is treated like a piece of stone… never mind a living being with a soul.

The taxi drivers are always polite when we drive in that area. We just drove past the rank on our way elsewhere. I’ll never drive that road again. It’s in a terrible state. Ive been out of the area for 4 years and got caught on that road and the many potholes. I was unaware of the deterioration. I feel for the taxi drivers having to navigate that road in Kombi’s. Its bad.

The only good thing about this place is it’s located right on taxi route so if you need to catch another taxi there you won’t look far but if you need to use it for directions BE VERY CAREFUL. I’d advise to only ask a taxi driver or rank manager for directions no one else. They are waiting right in view to prey on you the second you seem lost…it’s big and busy

I don’t like the place at all, it’s just that I don’t have a choice because when I come back from Johannesburg I get my taxi to PTA there. One thing I’ll advice is to not allow anyone to touch you belongings coz you’ll regret it.
When I first came to Gauteng, I needed to get the taxi from Jozi to PTA, so while I was at MTN Rank, a man approached me then asked to help me with my bags, I first resisted but he insisted, so I let him help me. When we got to the taxi I was going to take he demanded that I pay him for his service. I was so confused and asked which service did he offer me then he said,” I helped you with your bags”. I was so angry because I thought he was just being nice but no. I ended up giving him R20. So be careful.
