We’ve been in and out of WDG gor the past 8 years. Up and untill December 2024, the service was great and highly recommendable. Today my partner was admitted again, and was admitted to section D. This must be the orphanage of WDG… the make nurse tried to use the cap to do a glucose test, after the procedure the drip was left unattended from 14h00 to 19h30…. needless to say, his hand is swollen. When we called the nursing station the alarm went off and after 7 min we had to go to the station… atrocious was the word. The staff laughed and chatted, ignoring us….the staff at the theatre, cleaners, reception and catering were very good
The nursing staff at ward D, unprofessional, untrained, and couldn’t care less. They did not even bother to remove or cap the drain bag or even empty it out or phone the doctor. But we had to sign how many pages to make sure they are getting paid. On our previous visit at section J, the professional nurse did not even know to put a drip. She pierced through the vein…. 8 drips in different places in 5 days. AN UPDATE ON MY REVIEW – I was contacted by the hospital and my complaint has been taken. At the time of this update I am yet to receive more feedback and we are still awaiting to hear from our professors assistant as to what is the next step regarding the treatment …. So much for thinking doctors really care, seems now we are just part of a hefty paycheck

Very good hospital, doctors well trained and Professional. Biggest issue is the noise level of nursing staff – it is certainly not a peaceful environment. My experience has been constant loud voices, laughter, no respect for sleeping patients.

I have been with Dr Lev for over a year now. I had a wonderful experience at The Dermatology Room. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming, professional, and attentive. My skin had been acting up last year and ever since visiting Dr Lev, my skin has been as amazing and flawless looking as ever, she has been able to get me to control my acne and my skin has even evened out in tone, I get so many compliments, she is truly the best!

Appointment scheduled for 12.30…get here at 12.20 and they call me at 12.22 to say the Appointment in canceled…pathetic care and communication let a lone customer service.

Get to the front desk and the females at the front desk tell oh we were busy so we called when we could YET I WAS ALREADY THERE??!!

Up until a few months ago I had never really had an issue with acne, but stress really began to take its toll on my skin. I began to feel very self-conscious about my appearance and when I found myself layering foundation on top of foundation to hide the bumps and lumps and with anxiety setting in at the thought of my upcoming wedding in April, I realised that it was time to seek help.

I wasn’t sure where to look so I did a quick google search for the best Dermatologists around. I came across The Dermatology Room and some really impressive reviews on it and decided to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Lev.

After conducting an assessment on my skin, she started me on an 8 week treatment program immediately, consisting of a very well-tolerated antibiotic, a pill to regulate my hormones and some skincare products to use on a daily basis. The products are quite pricy, but I was asked about my budget beforehand and only the products that I agreed to were prescribed to me. And I can honestly say that they are worth every cent and that in 2 short months I have seen incredible results.

The treatment program coupled with regular glycolic and lactic acid peels by my incredible therapist, Kleoni, has not only given my skin an incredible glow, but it has given me my confidence back.

Needless to say I don’t have to think twice when recommending the Dermatology Room to friends and family.

I went to see Dr on the 06th of May 2024, the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful.. The Dr was amazing very straight forward told me everything what was wrong gave me the correct products to use. And already seeing a difference. What amazing skin she has so I trust her judgment.

Really nice and serene ambience. Shaaz is a very attentive therapist and will always explain procedures and update me whenever there’s a special. Not a fan of the fat freeze procedure, but the wraps with EMS are so relaxing whether there’s a cm loss or not. A good spa day out.

Gentle, respectful, professional. I don’t like it to visit any medical facility and doctors, but this was a good experience. The ladies at reception were also very friendly and helpful .

I went to see Dr Newaj in August due to a skin issue. He diagnosed me and put me on treatment for 4 months, however it has been almost a month and I can see a huge improvement/difference.

The skin issue was on my face and it affected my confidence. I’m so happy and my confidence is back.

I would recommend anyone who needs assistance with a skin issue to visit Dr Newaj, he is very professional and he knows what he is doing.

This is my 2nd experience with the Dr. I had previously taken my son and the treatment worked well. I have now the same issue with daughter and took her to the Dr. who prescribed a 3 month treatment, the 3 month treatment is over and there has been no difference. I phoned the practice and dealt with very rude staff who insists that I need to pay another consult after I was told by the Dr. that treatment will be changed if there is no difference. I don’t see the need to come in and pay AGAIN for a problem that didn’t change with the treatment. This is on you Dr. The worse part is the Dr. does not speak to the patients. So he will never call you, his staff also will tell you that you need to pay again just to talk to him. So, this makes me question whether he has a real interest in helping his patients as I have been to many specialist and they will all call you back should the need arise. This is the first that I seen a Dr. will not talk to you!! Honestly, it raises the question of whether he and the staff really care for the patients?
Also, one can judge from the Dr. reply, who cannot speak to your on the phone but has ample time to type out a long reply to everyone who did not have a good experience including mine, that he will insult that person, not knowing them personally and then give out personal info about the patient (not very ethical).
Dr. You may attack back which only truly shows there’s no uphold of the Dr’s oath from your side. My case is closed!

The lady who does vitals is rude and unprofessional.she talks to people like they are nothing and her attitude is bad towards patients

This is the worst place ever especially that lady doctor. My husband fell and went there and he was referred to go to X- lister X-rays, we called X-lister and they said the Xray will cost 510 but when he got there they wanted to charge him 2500. When he went back to the doctor with feedback the lister had already contacted dr cajee that my husband is fine even though he is still in pain. The lady doctor did not want to give him a doctor’s note so that he can heal for a few days before work. The doctor was mad that my husband did not want to pay 2500 for xray. My husband tried explaining that he works with machines and he won’t be able to work while he is in so much pain but the lady doctor did not care. I’m so hurt and disappointed

Dr. Cajee offers exceptional value for your money. He is dedicated to his patients, putting in great effort and genuinely caring about their well-being. While the waiting time may be a bit longer than usual, it’s because Dr. Cajee doesn’t rush through appointments. He takes the time to fully comprehend each patient’s situation. I’ve been a patient of his for over five years now.

On a different note, there have been concerns regarding the efficiency of the staff responsible for conducting urine tests and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. It’s crucial that the clinic ensures the restroom is not only clean but also well-stocked with toilet paper. This is an area that could use some improvement.

I’ve visited this practice on multiple occasions over the years and received excellent service. They’ve helped with multiple issues including digging a giant thorn out of my foot that had broken inside when it went through my shoe. They recently helped me with treatment for nerve pain as I’m recovering from a bad car crash. The practice is very clean, the doctors and staff are friendly and helpful. They made sure I got safely onto my uber when I left. It’s next to the road so although the area is not ideal, it’s possible to enter and exit the practice safely and there is a lot of private security in the street to ward off criminals. I highly recommend this practice for affordable and accessible healthcare. The toilets are also very clean and the whole place has good ventilation. Thank you for the excellent service. Quadcare Fox is definitely giving Awesome service at all times, the staff working there has become family to me, big shout out to Dr Alert Vukile, for always being amazing and being attentive to us as patients. Please do recognition awards for the staff, they are always doing an amazing job.

I recently changed Doctors because i needed a Doctor who will be able to give me information about my condition ,and also dispensing. the staff is friendly and the Doctor is bubbly and he gives info but the admin is terrible , I got my chronic medication late and i was so frustrated , not sure if its both Dischem health/Kaelo or Quadcare. I have emailed , called informed both Dischem & Quadcare of changing Doctors and Delivery address but admin is a mess. not sure if receptionist is only for appoinments only , but am disappointed as in the beginning everything was good ,Its clean, staff is friendly but the admin haikona.

Dr Cobus is one of the most professional and ethical people I know. Generous to a fault and as thorough as they get. He is both competent and careful to consider your emotional and physical wellness. I then consulted my father and he advised that I should see Modi again

TODAY Monday 28 October 2024 I met him

When I entered upon the Dr and he asked my condition I told him I had gotten worse since I’ve seen him before, without a second thought he said ‘ I can’t treat you’ with an attitude of pessimism. Told the Dr I was referred by my father who said ‘ Instead of seeing another dermatologist, why not return to Modi’ . Without adding any honorifics or titles such as Professor or Doctor. He proceeds to display shock and then anger. ‘Modi, huh?’. He was exceedingly angered for not being addressed as Professor or Doctor and anything like that. I felt I had made a mistake and said ‘I did not mean to offend you’. He said HE WASN’T going to treat me as he was not legally required to do so. Said I shouldn’t speak to him like a stupid little boy and that he is a professor. He said ‘you come in here all arrogantly, dressed all religiously, your religion should teach you manners’ . I was wearing Muslim attire at the time. He said he was 65 years of age and asked for mine. I replied ’20’. He said I should go see another dermatologist and that every doctor I would see would be his student. He also said ‘ Tell your father NOT TO CALL ME MODI!’ All the while I was apologizing and expressing my genuine remorse. He said he would not accept my apology and that I was arrogant (just for not calling him Professor) and that he’d give me a referral letter to go see someone else.’ I don’t want to ever see you’ he said and said other awful things. This man has reached the epitome of arrogance, shows an inferiority complex when not addressed by honorifics, shows disdain for religion, speaks to you condescendingly and treats you like you were a street boy. He has no ethics no professionalism, he has no patience and empathy for his patients. His human value and self-worth is attached to a title and therefore isn’t fit to be a doctor.

It is worth noting that I never lost my composure and self respect for a moment. I said nothing to continue to aggravate him and kept apologizing. He couldn’t care less to be sensible.

I know doctors use their discretion when prescribing medicine and the result can be positive or negative. I am not blaming him that. I am blaming him for his sheer arrogance and bad attitude.

I will never recommend him.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Prof Modi, a truly exceptional dermatologist whose interests in his patients stretch beyond dermatology but to rather helping people with any other medical issue they have. Over the years, he has treated me showing extensive knowledge of my skin and hair conditions and treatments. His diagnostic skills are truly remarkable he draws pictures so that you understand what he means. His attention to detail and ability to listen attentively made me feel valued as a patient. Before he diagnosed me, he explained in detail what my skin was going through and how he would help to resolve the issue. Prof is by far the best dermatologist who works towards realistic results and achieves them, not magic. I would highly recommend him for any dermatological treatments. I cannot recommend him enough, an exceptional dermatologist!
