I had high hopes for this service based on the positive reviews and my initial conversations with Ross, the owner. He was very professional at the start and confidently outlined what he could deliver. Everything seemed promising in the beginning, and I was thrilled to have a beautiful ring custom-made by Origin Diamonds, working directly with Ross.

Unfortunately, the after-sales service has been deeply disappointing. The ring was slightly too big, so we arranged with Ross to have it resized. Initially, this seemed to go smoothly, but when we received the ring back, it was evident that nothing substantial had been done. Within just two months, the ring began to deform, causing the stones to fall out.

We contacted Ross immediately, but it took him nearly two weeks to respond. He assured us that the ring would be collected and repaired, but that never happened. I attempted to follow up multiple times, but Ross stopped responding altogether. It has now been over three months with no resolution, and I am left with no choice but to have a completely new ring made elsewhere.

I never expected this kind of experience from Origin Diamonds, let alone from the owner himself. This has been extremely disappointing, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Origin Diamonds to anyone.

I had an amazing experience at Jack Friedman Eastgate the entire staff was very friendly, they even offered to polish our old rings for us.
Sachaa Jacobs was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect, she got every detail correct of how we wanted our rings to be. The cherry on top is the after sales service, Sachaa still dropped a text message just to check on us and if we are happy with our rings and availing herself to assist if ever needed. On the Day of the wedding I remember getting a message from her in the morning wishing us well.

We visited the store Sunday 8 December and were helped by the very lovely Lebohang. She was super efficient and helpful. We needed three matching chains and she advised us that we would get a free item with each chain which was a great deal. Lebohang you are truly a great asset to Pandora. There was one left and the shop assistant simply refused stating they can’t sell display items. Why display something you don’t have. Customer service is non-existent at this shop.

I purchased a Pandora tanzinite ring for my girlfriend and a month later a stone fell out. So I went back and exchanged it for a new one where the manager assured us that the stones would not fall out as per our concerns however month later after receiving the new ring 2 stones fell out and we took it back and the manager gave us a hard time asking for our refund. She stated she could not give our money back only give us a gift voucher which we did not want as we do not want to repeat our mistakes of shopping here anymore. Highly disappointed especially with the manger of the store as we understand its the product qualities fault but does not mean the manager has to treat customers with absolute disrespect. Will not shop again.

I bought a few charms and got the free bracket as a present for my fiance for Christmas. Unfortunately the bracelet didnt fit. I went to the store on the 27th of December and was told that they were out of stock, but as soon as they have stock they’d let me know. I tried calling on the 8th of January but their line seems to be out of order. I sent an email instead and on the 12th I still had no responses. I posted on their Facebook page and was told on Saturday that they would get back to me. I tried calling now on the 15th and their line is still down.
