I did my nails at Wang nails and I was not happy at all. The nail tech I had filed my cuticle way too back and Even filed my skin even after I had expressed discomfort.I was not happy with the way my nails came out, the nails were asymmetrical, very bumpy and clumsy. I had to remove the nail polish myself. My cuticles (or lack thereof) are in so much pain even if I just run plain water over my hands.

There are two ladies I go to who are brilliant in their manicures and pedicures who I’d give 4 stars too, but it’s the cleanliness and sterilising of the salons tools that worry me.
The deceased female owner would be turning in her grave to see how her prized salon is being run. It’s a shame. I still go there as haven’t yet found an alternative.
Note: after saying they’re open on Boxing Day but they were closed so I wasted my time taking the trip. Another example of the lack of detail to this business.

The team was welcoming, and the environment was comfortable.
However, as the hairdresser started cutting the layers I started feeling a bit uneasy. I asked for a side fringe but was told that a middle path would be better suited. I agreed, putting my faith in the hairdresser. After blow-drying and styling, it looked okay.
After getting home and brushing my hair, I saw that it was very uneven (even though it was done with a middle path) The top layers are very short and the sides aren’t equal. Nothing is blended. It seems like the styling was done to cover all the mistakes of the stylist.
I went to another hairdresser to get a professional opinion and was told I would have to go much shorter to even begin to fix the problems or wait to have it grow out and then start again.
I put a complaint through with the manager after this all happened who was very accommodating and assisted me with a full refund. Unfortunately, this doesn’t help my current styling issue.
I did look through reviews to ease my mind before going to Dolce Vita and was very disappointed with my experience.

She absolutely didn’t not care to provide good customer service. Mistakes happen, but when a person still doesn’t correct it after it has been identified, this is poor attitude and lack of effort.
I hope the owner sees this because this business last a customer.
But there will not be a next time.
Paid in the end 600 rand instead of 500 (+ 50 tip). Enjoy them. A regular (or not regular) customer should not be treated like this

The staff were friendly and attentive, however I felt a bit rushed during my appointment… my partner was also butchered by the trainee they allowed to do the work that she clearly couldn’t do and that made it difficult to fully relax. An appointment that was meant to be an hour for both of us, because I booked it that way, took over two hours!
