Dr. Naidoo and Adeeba have been absolutely amazing over the past 14-15 months. The care our family received has been nothing but exceptional. My second pregnancy in 2024 had a few complications, and the level of care and support during this time was nothing short of amazing. Dr. N was always transparent and caring during the difficult times. Our emergency C-section was very scary, but even through the frightening moments, she made us feel safe while keeping it real throughout our journey and delivery. Adeeba was amazing as well, always receiving us with a warm smile and helping us feel calm.

Fast forward 8 months when I went in for a small procedure that went south very quickly. Dr. N provided so much care and even some laughs during this very challenging time.

Both played such an important role in delivering care and compassion during the past 14-15 months, and I will forever be grateful.

I hadn’t seen a gynecologist in 19 years, so I was understandably anxious about my visit to Dr. Railene. From the moment I walked through the door, I was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere at reception that immediately helped ease my nerves.

Adeeba noticed my anxiety right away and was incredibly gentle and reassuring. She checked in on me regularly until it was time for me to see Dr. Naidoo.

And then—Dr. Railene. What an incredible presence. She had the warmth and gentleness of a mother, and I truly mean that. Her professionalism was paired with a comforting heart, and I felt at ease almost instantly.

This practice is the best experience I have had in the medical field. The staff are friendly, kind and compassionate. They made me feel safe and I think that’s most important in this field. I’ve already been recommending Dr Railene Naidoo to friends and family. She didn’t rush through my consultation. She took time with pictures and plain English to explain my condition to me and she answered my questions with patience and grace. She showed urgency when it came to attending to my condition. I’m grateful I chose this practice and this gynae.

Walking into Dr Naidoo’s office, you are welcomed by the most down to earth, kind and caring staff at reception. Dr Nadioo herself is very friendly and firm. You can tell by the pictures on the wall of all the babies she has brought into this world, that she knows what she is doing. She answers all questions with kindness and clear instructions. As a first time mom I am so happy I have Dr Naidoo by my side. She has saved my pregnancy and has done so with a motherly touch.

I gave birth on the 21st December 2024 via C-section to my first born daughter. I consulted with Dr Rockson as a transfer from the Northern Cape and she made me feel like I’ve been her patient for the entire pregnancy.
I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care I received during my delivery, and I feel compelled to share my experience. Dr. Rockson was truly outstanding in every aspect. From the very beginning, her professionalism and expertise put me at ease, and her friendly, calming demeanor made a world of difference.

Throughout the entire process, I felt completely supported and confident in her care. She took the time to answer my questions and ensure I understood everything happening, all while maintaining a reassuring presence that helped me stay calm during such an important and sometimes overwhelming moment.

Dr Rockson has just got that magic touch!

She is so kind, so patient and will move mountains for her patients! I have never felt more comfortable or in safer hands than with Dr. Rockson. She’s always just a message away, and has been so supportive in my journey to conceiving and now with baby in the making. I’ve been with Doc for a number of years now, and “growing up” with Dr. Rockson to the point of my now first time pregnancy, I would not be able to do this with anyone else.

I would first of all say that this rating of 2 stars does not reflect on Dr Rockson’s abilities as a doctor or her bedside manner. She is brilliant, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. That being said, I have been to her a few times over the past 3 years for my screening pap smear. I had no issues with my other 2 visits, but my last one in Feb this year was just not great at all. I made an appointment a few weeks in advance to see the doctor at 10am. She was in her offices when I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, as I saw her. I was kept waiting for an hour and 20 minutes, without any explanation at all. When the nurse saw me to take my vitals, I asked why there was such a delay and she said, there were not enough rooms to accommodate everyone. This just led me to assume that patients were being overbooked and just had to wait it out. I find this very disappointing and disrespectful to the patients time. If I book an appointment, I would expect to be seen at that time or at least within half an hour of that time and not have to wait for for over an hour and 20 minutes.
Other doctors that are at hospitals and on call, have the decency of at least having their staff calling half an hour before your appointment to inform you that the doctor is running late. This really should be implemented at this practice.

My daughter is 2 years old now, I had the best pregnancy and birthing experience all because of her. As much as my birthing experience didn’t go as planned, she helped mr deal with it a lot better. Looking forward to my next birth experience with her.

Dr. Rockson is an exceptional gynecologist. I recently underwent a myomectomy to remove cysts, and her professionalism, outstanding bedside manner, and keen academic expertise truly set her apart. I was worried about getting a gynecologist in the private sector who would be keen for a normal delivery. Dr. Maghoma came highly recommended by a friend who delivered both her children normally with him.

The best decision I have ever made to take her advice. I did my follow-up and delivered my baby girl normally with him. He’s an angel sent from above- calm and spiritual. His receptionists are also the best.

Doctor Ndoweni is one of the best Doctors shame, though my pregnancy had complications. I love how handled everything,so calm and attentive to his patients needs. So punctual ,every time I was admitted he would come early to see me and at some point more than once because I had a lot going with my difficult pregnancy,I can’t stress that enough. He really looks after his patients, speaking from experience. And for that I will forever recommend him. His is really one of the best.

Attentive and respectful gynae who understands the needs of his patients and has great obstetrics skills. Delivered my first born safely, natural birth, and I healed perfectly with his guidance.

I think about Dr Q Ndiweni and want to hug him every time shuuu… What a God sent!! So patient and warm hearted. So sad that my pregnancy has come to end lol… This Dr was literally my therapist and gynae would sit and listen to all my pregnancy stories (sorry, I’m guilty of keeping the other patients wait while I vent to my Dr).

I had an unplanned C-section and I remember praying that Lord and Holy spirit leads him and the nurses during my labour and that’s exactly what happened. When he suggested the C-section, I didn’t understand but it was after the delivery that I understood why and remembered my prayer.
God bless him and give him long life. I’m excited to have more babies because of Dr Ndiweni .

I sent an email about an appointment a week ago, but I have not received a response. I attempted to call multiple times and finally got through to someone, who was extremely rude. When I inquired if I had reached Oxford Maternity, the response was simply “no” before the call was abruptly ended. Despite trying to call back several times, there was no answer. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of communication is unacceptable.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Oxford maternity offers world class services at medical aid rates. They were there for me throughout my pregnancy journey and this was important to me because I’m a first time mom. They offer comprehensive services and go overboard in linking one to other services they may need (doulas, antenatal classes, breastfeeding advice, postpartum recovery etc) Take advantage of this. It has been paramount in my journey. A big thank you to Dr Sparks, who felt like a friend during difficult days. She’s friendly and cheerful while also professional. Dr Phasha who regularly saw me for my consultations. Dr Rietief who helped deliver my twins naturally . I felt empowered and respected as they respected and supported my decision for my chosen mode of delivery and it was a great success. Nicholett at the front who was always warm are kind. Sr Amber who was a call away when I had questions and the other members who came to see me after I’d delivered to congratulate me, this was rather special for me. My overall experience with Oxford was nothing short of amazing. The only down side to the entire experience is that it’s over. i would recommend Oxford maternity to my dearest friends and loved ones

Dr Pillay is the one doctor I would highly recommend to any woman looking for care by a Gynaecologist. She has been my doctor for nearly 2 decades and I never had to look further. I have never met a more caring, loving, kind Dr. in my life. Dr. Pam makes you feel comfortable and relaxed from the very first moment you enter her rooms until well years and years later. She truly care deeply and live and experience every moment with each of her patients. We went through quite a journey and if i had to do it again i would choose her over and over. She pulls out all the stops and nothing is more important than her patients peace of mind and care when under her wings.

Dr Mia is hands down the best gynea I have ever been to! He was my back up gynea for a natural birth which turned into a c-section later on.

He has a great bedside manner and takes the time to connect with his patients and guide them through the journey of pregnancy. He explains everything – before you even having to ask! He is very knowledgeable.

He helped deliver my little one and I couldn’t be happier with the experience (as daunting as it is).

Dr Mia was my gynaecologist in case of emergency as I wanted a home birth with midwife – which later became hospital labour ward with midwife and due to after the birth complications had Dr Mia fly in and do an amazing and pain stacking operation to save my uterus… for future births.

If you are thinking about a birth you can’t go wrong. Even for natural vac bacs he offers to let you try natural first. He never pushes c-sections and he listens to you as the mom and knowing a woman’s instincts he knows when to step in when there is trouble. He quickly comes up with a plan explains it fully and gives you all the options your body is yours and he treats you with absolute respect.

I saw him for all the scans and tests he is very kind extremely sensitive and very knowledgable. Couldn’t have had a better team. Him being backup made me feel safe and comfortable.

Dr Mia is an amazing doctor. After not being happy with my previous gynae, someone referred me to Dr Mia , and he took me on at 20 weeks of my pregnancy, where other gynaes refused as i was far in the pregnancy. From the first consult, he made me feel comfortable and explained on my baby’s growth and progress explaining in detail how everything looks normal and good. Something the previous gynae did not do. He does not rush through consults , he listened to every concern and answers every question. He would respond to me on WhatsApp whenever I needed help. He is kind , caring , compassionate and very passionate about his work. He made me feel safe and confident that I’m in the right hands. Even when I was in labour the nurses attending to me told me that I have a very good doctor and have nothing to worry about. I wish that I found him earlier, as it would have been even more of a beautiful experience seeing him from the start of my pregnancy. I highly recommend him ❤️

I had both my babies with Dr Mia and I could never ever go to another gynae. My first baba had complications and he went out of his way in every way possible to try and save my baba. Moreover he was so delicate and took every precaution with my second baby. He walked our whole journey of entering parenthood with us. There’s no other person I’d trust my babies lives with.

Dr Mia delivered both my kids. i won’t recommend someone else. He is caring and kind. he really takes his time to make sure everything goes smoothly.

I have just had my second baby using Dr Naidoo as my choice of gynae. From the start of each pregnancy, I have had nothing but the most amazing experience. The care after the procedure is absolutely incredible. Dr Naidoo is such a thorough, caring doctor. Every appointment putting our hearts at ease and filled with friendly conversations. Like a home away from home. We absolutely adore Dr Naidoo and might even have to consider having another baby just to see her more often!

I honestly can’t thank Dr. Naidoo enough for everything she’s done for me throughout my pregnancy. From the very first appointment, I felt like I was in the best hands. She’s not just an amazing doctor, but such a kind and loving person. Every visit, she made sure I understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. I should have taken heed of the 1 star reviews instead of giving the practice the benefit of the doubt.

The admin system is dysfunctional and unapologetic about their delays. It’s a long wait for an appointment and when you make the necessary arrangements to attend your appointment, you are told (ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT) that that are delays and asked to come in later (this happened to me twice – March 2024 and December 2024). When I arrived at the later time, I was still made to wait (this was my experience).

The doctor is clearly tired (as this was her response when I asked how she was) and distracted as she asked me the exact same question 3 times regarding my family history of diabetes, whilst attending to text messages during my consultation. I gave the same response all 3 times.

My appointment was on a Friday (December 13th). I was sent for tests and told that I would be contacted with the results on a Tuesday (due to the public holiday). I was not contacted. I then communicated with the practice on the Thursday (19th December) requesting my results. I was told the results were not in because (according to the admin lady) they didn’t receive the results from the lab. However, when I spoke to the doctor (a few minutes later) I was told that the reason for me not receiving my results was because she was ill earlier in the week and couldn’t furnish the results.
What surprised me the most was that for a practice that has no availability for at least a month in advance, the admin and doctor insisted that I “come in immediately and discuss my results”. It took a while to convince the practice to even furnish me with my own results, because I was not going to suddenly be available for an immediate consultation.

Whilst I understand that delays are guaranteed when it comes to pregnancy and birth. I think it is vital to give the best possible care to first time patients and handle them with professionalism if you want to retain these patients. The consultation fees are not cheap and to have a doctor distracted and texting during my consultation was, in my opinion, unprofessional.

Dr Naidoo and her team may be “absolutely amazing” for some, and perhaps I caught her on a bad day. However, after my experience, I will not be returning to the practice but wish her, her practice and her patients the best.

Dr Dheshni Naidoo is an excellent medical professional and 5 stars aren’t enough to rate her level of service, compassion, expertise and exceptional bedside manner.
She has helped my husband and I navigate one of the worst tragedies imaginable with kindness, wisdom and above standard medical care.
I would be at a loss if I didn’t have Dr. Dheshni in my corner. She is truly a gift from God in a very dark time in my life.

We recently had our second daughter after a complicated pregnancy. Dr Naidoo kept up with my health so diligently that she knew exactly when to call it when it was time for our daughter to be born, in turn taking into account how much suffering I was enduring. I cannot fault Dr Naidoo on ANYTHING, EVER! Her heart and concern for her patients is at the center of everything!

Her admin team are exceptionally helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile- they always keep patients up to date in terms of whether Dr is maybe running a bit late because, well, babies are being born, we have to make allowances for that, this is not like a dentist appointment!

Given the nature of the industry, Dr has to be available for many people all at once (something she masters with such grace and compassion!) so I know that if she needs to respond to someone during my appointment it’s because she cares so much for her patients!

I’ve been with this amazing earth angel for quite a number of years. She has been nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. I cannot fault her. I cannot thank her enough for her care and compassion. Just…. incredible! So grateful for people like Dr Dheshni Naidoo! Let me reiterate, her heart and concern for her patients is at the center of everything she does!!!!!!!!!!

One more thing, I think it goes without saying that it’s not just about how a medical professional treats you but how you treat them in return! I also think people are very quick to give a bad review, for example, without even speaking to the Dr in question beforehand, to discuss.
